The clinic was founded by Dr Christopher M James, a specialist in this field, and is committed to providing a high quality assessment and diagnostic service.
You will be personally assessed and managed by Dr Chris James who will make the appropriate referrals to other specialists if required.
ACETYL CHOLINESTERASE INHIBITORS
Existing drugs called acetyl cholinesterase inhibitors, available as donepezil (Aricept), galantamine (Reminyl), rivastigmine (Exelon) are prescribed by specialists. An alternative treatment is memantine for individuals who cannot take acetyl cholinesterase inhibitors
At Memory Clinic Wales, treatment is available with acetyl cholinesterase inhibitors or memantine for patients with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Dementia whenever appropriate..
